Tips on Acura integra luggage test: how big is the trunk; the Acura Integra is a pretty good car to own and drive: it’s easy to find parts for, it gets great gas mileage, and it has a solid reputation for reliability. But if you’re like me, you’ll be disappointed when you try to put your luggage in the trunk—because there simply isn’t enough space. I’ve had two cars with small trunks (a Honda Civic and an Acura Integra), so that really shouldn’t have been a surprise. Still, maybe your expectations were set too high by the one-trunk rule? The truth is that even though the Honda Civic has a bigger trunk than its Subaru Impreza rival (and therefore more room), they both have very limited space when compared to vehicles such as SUV or station wagons.

The Acura Integra is a quite good car to own and drive, but the trunk is surprisingly small. It can fit two large suitcases or one carry-on bag. However, if you want to take your roller skates with you on vacation, you’ll have to leave them at home because they won’t fit in the trunk.

The Acura Integra’s trunk is big enough for only one large suitcase and one carry-on bag.

The Acura Integra’s trunk is big enough for only one large suitcase and one carry-on bag. The rear seats can be folded down to make more space, but even then the trunk is small.

The Acura Integra’s rear seats collapse for more space

The rear seats can be folded down, opening up more space for larger items.

You can fit a bike inside the car if you fold the seats down.

You can fit a small dog inside the car if you fold the seats down.

Even with the seats collapsed, you’ll have trouble fitting more than three bags in the trunk

Even with the seats collapsed, you’ll have trouble fitting more than three bags in the trunk. There’s a lot of wasted space that could be used for extra luggage. But if you just need a few things and don’t mind spreading them out, it can work.

The trunk is not very deep or wide, but it will fit up to three suitcases or medium-sized bags inside. You won’t be able to fit larger pieces like a golf cart or skateboard unless they’re rolled up and folded flat against one another rather than standing on their own as they would in a sedan or hatchback. The best option is likely to put your largest piece(s) in first and then stack smaller items around them so they don’t take up too much room while still allowing easy access from outside the car when necessary (you’ll want all of your stuff accessible at all times because there are no overhead bins).

Don’t look to the Acura Integra’s trunk if you need to pack large bags

Don’t look to the Acura Integra’s trunk if you need to pack large bags. The trunk lid opens up to reveal a small space, and with just two seats in the car, it’s hard to imagine what else would fit in there besides an emergency kit and a few small items.

It will suffice for short trips, but don’t expect much room for luggage when traveling long distance or taking multiple passengers with you.

Additionally, if you’re looking to buy a used Acura Integra, then it’s important that you know how much stuff it can hold. In this test we’ll use real-world examples and measurements to show exactly how much cargo space there is in this car’s trunk. We’ll also explain how best to pack your luggage so that it fits well and doesn’t rattle around during the drive home.

The test will be conducted using a standard carry-on suitcase, a rollerboard suitcase, two backpacks and one duffel bag.

Trunk space is measured in cubic feet, and the Integra’s total cargo capacity comes in at 11.8 cubic feet.

The trunk space is measured in cubic feet, and the Integra’s total cargo capacity comes in at 11.8 cubic feet. That may not sound like much, but it’s enough for four passengers’ luggage, two suitcases and two carry-ons — assuming you’re okay with cramming your bags into the trunk. Just don’t expect to be able to load up a week’s worth of groceries or anything else that requires more space than that.

If you’re not bringing your laptop with you, a large laptop bag will fit in the trunk of an Acura Integra. It won’t be as convenient as a rolling suitcase, but it works if you want to bring one week’s worth of clothes and shoes (and don’t care about them being wrinkled).

One rollerboard bag, two duffel bags and two backpacks.

Here are the results:

  • One rollerboard bag fits in the trunk with room to spare.
  • Two duffel bags fit in the trunk with room to spare.
  • Three backpacks fit in the trunk with room to spare.

The Acura Integra trunk has a total cargo capacity of 11.8 cubic feet and a maximum number of rollerboard suitcases that will fit in the trunk is 3 with the rear seats folded down and zero with the seats raised up. The remaining luggage will fit behind, on top or in front of them (see images below).

We put our bags in the trunk and back seats of the Acura Integra, which has a small trunk. This is what we fit in there:

  • One 12-by-20-by-8 carry-on rolling suitcase (weighs 9 pounds with clothes)
  • One rollerboard bag (weighs 7 pounds empty)
  • One duffel bag

This left more than enough room for two passengers who were carrying 10 suitcases total on their way to Paris for spring break (the car also had two large suitcases on the roof rack).

The Acura Integra has enough trunk space for camping gear or multiple sets of luggage

Conclusion

In conclusion, the Acura Integra’s trunk is of average size and can fit a small amount of luggage. This makes it great if you’re going on a road trip or just need to get some groceries. However, if you need more space than that then this car may not be for you!

The Acura Integra is a great car for someone who needs to carry a lot of stuff around. It has enough space for two people and all their luggage, plus there’s room to spare if you want to take some camping gear along with you on your next road trip.
